Earlier sources: Space
Space research and engineering study the universe and build the systems used to reach and observe it. Follow astronomy, spacecraft, launch systems, satellites, exploration, and Earth observation.
SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.
Open in the map ↗536 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.
Earlier sources
Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Emission spectroscopy of KELT-2A b with Gemini-North/IGRINS-2: hints of a stellar C/O ratio and sub-stellar metallicity ↗
We present the results of high-resolution emission spectroscopy of the hot Jupiter KELT-2A~b using IGRINS-2 on the Gemini-North telescope, covering the $H$- and $K$-bands at a spectral resolution of $R \sim 45{,}000$. Observations were carried out over five nights, covering both pre- and post-eclipse orbital phases. Stellar and telluric contaminations are removed via singular value decomposition. We detect $\rm H_2O$ at a signal-to-noise ratio of {6.57}, confirming the previous result at a higher significance. While $\rm ^{12}CO$ is identified in the log-likelihood map near the expected planet…

ExoEcho: Exoplanet Ephemerides Change Observations. III. A JWST Survey for Transit Timing Variations of 37 Exoplanets ↗
Transit timing variations (TTVs) provide a powerful probe of planetary dynamics and orbital evolution. We extend the ExoEcho project by incorporating James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) transit observations and analyze 84 light curves of 37 exoplanets, including 20 hot Jupiters, 11 Neptune-like planets, and 6 super-Earths. We derive updated transit ephemerides and conduct a systematic search for long-term and periodic TTV signals. We identify two strong TTV candidates, including HATS-6~b and HAT-P-18~b. The hot Jupiter HATS-6~b exhibits a long-term trend with $\dot{P} = 230.5 \pm 46.8\ \mathrm{m…

Experimental study on suppression of hydrogen-blended natural gas explosion by composite powder in full-scale confined space: Mechanism and scale effect ↗
To address industrial-scale explosion risks of hydrogen-blended natural gas, this study used a 25.2 m 3 full-scale enclosure to investigate suppression by a novel ABC/NaHCO 3 composite powder (3:7) with N 2 /CO 2 propellants on 9.5% hydrogen-blended natural gas–air mixtures. Under incomplete suppression, the powder significantly reduced explosion pressure, with optimal concentrations of 500 g/m 3 (N 2 ) and 400 g/m 3 (CO 2 ), lowering P max to 64 kPa and 79 kPa, respectively. Complete suppression was observed in some but not all replicate tests, most frequently (3 of 4) for CO 2 at 600 g/m 3 .…

Confined‐Space Self‐Assembly of Nano‐HNS Into Hierarchical Micro‐Nano Structured Microspheres for Selective Stimuli Sensitization and Passivation ↗
To address the balance between reactivity and safety in nano-HNS, this study presents a green composite molding strategy that facilitates the self-assembly of nano-HNS into micro-nano-structured microspheres within confined spaces. This approach utilizes confined spaces to precisely control the morphology and size of the resultant microspheres. The effects of process parameters on the morphology and size of microspheres were systematically investigated, and the underlying formation mechanisms were elucidated. Comprehensive characterizations encompassing morphology, crystal structure, mechanica…

Inextensible Curve Flows in Dual Space D3: A Quasi-Frame Approach ↗
This paper develops a comprehensive quasi-frame theory for inextensible curve flows in the dual space D3. While the Frenet frame has been the traditional tool for studying curve evolution, it encounters singularities when curvature vanishes. We introduce a quasi-frame (q-frame) formulation that overcomes these limitations and provides a robust framework for analyzing inextensible flows, flows that preserve arc length throughout evolution. We derive the fundamental evolution equations for quasi-curvatures under inextensible flow conditions and establish necessary and sufficient conditions for i…

Second Coordination Shell Engineering Tunes Fe 3d Orbital Occupancy for Enhanced Oxygen Reduction Catalysis ↗
ABSTRACT Second coordination shell (SCS) engineering offers a powerful strategy for fine‐tuning the intrinsic activity of Fe–N‐C single‐atom catalysts, yet achieving targeted SCS regulation remains a formidable synthetic challenge. Herein, we propose a rational precursor‐engineering approach driven by the steric hindrance of pyrazole‐borate ligands to precisely construct Fe─N 4 sites with tunable boron SCS doping levels. The optimized FeN 4 B 3 /NC catalyst exhibits an exceptional half‐wave potential of 0.92 V for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in alkaline media and a specific energy dens…

How to assess evidence about Space
Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
