Earlier sources: Space
Space research and engineering study the universe and build the systems used to reach and observe it. Follow astronomy, spacecraft, launch systems, satellites, exploration, and Earth observation.
SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.
Open in the map ↗514 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.
Earlier sources
Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Space Syntax Analysis of Türkiye’s 1960s Archetypal Museum Projects ↗
Social, cultural, and architectural changes began to take place with the reforms implemented during and after the Republican period. At the same time, reinforced concrete, steel, glass, geometric shapes, and forms that had influenced buildings during the modern movement in European countries began to affect traditional architecture in Türkiye. In the following period, efforts were made to ensure that public buildings in Türkiye reflected the influence of modernity. Traces of this trend can be seen in the domestic projects planned and constructed after the founding of the Republic. Like public…

Satellite based multi-scale remote sensing system for infrastructure stability monitoring around an urban metro ↗
Ground settlement around urban metro systems can result from coupled interactions among wide-area surface displacement, local surface geometry, shallow subsurface conditions, and underground structural deformation. However, a single monitoring technique is insufficient to screen settlement-prone sections along long metro corridors and to interpret the associated surface and underground conditions at the selected site. This study proposes a multi-scale remote sensing system (MSRS) integrating InSAR, laser scanning, GPR, and BOTDR-based distributed fiber optic sensing for infrastructure stabilit…

Tuning the pressure exponent for adaptive solid rocket motors via molecular perovskite energetic materials: a comparative evaluation of DAP-4 and HMX-based propellant ↗
Conventional nitramine energetic ingredients (e.g., HMX) suffer from complex tuning methods and limited effectiveness in regulating the high-pressure exponent of solid propellants. In this study, the molecular perovskite energetic material DAP-4 was employed to achieve a stepwise enhancement of the pressure exponent through systematic comparison with HMX‑based propellants and formulation optimization. Thermal analysis and combustion performance tests reveal that, compared with the HMX system, DAP‑4 exhibits stronger reactivity with AP, reducing the reaction interval by 40% relative to pure AP…

Star-ov: satellite-oriented trusted authorization and responsibility with stratified model encryption and ownership verifications ↗
Abstract With the increasing adoption of deep neural networks (DNNs) in remote sensing interpretation and on-orbit intelligent processing, protecting the intellectual property of deployed models faces new challenges, including limited onboard computational resources, constrained satellite–ground communication bandwidth, differentiated multi-user services, and difficulty in ownership attribution after model leakage. Existing model protection approaches mainly rely on either active encryption or passive watermarking mechanisms, which are insufficient to simultaneously satisfy the requirements of…

Free-space and satellite-based quantum communication: Principles, implementations, and challenges ↗
Satellite-based quantum communications represent a critical advancement in the pursuit of secure, global-scale quantum networks. Leveraging the principles of quantum mechanics, these systems offer unparalleled security through Quantum Key Distribution and other quantum communication protocols. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of satellite-based quantum communications, focusing on the evolution from terrestrial to space-based systems. We explore the distinct advantages and challenges of discrete-variable and continuous-variable quantum communication technologie…

Scaled three-dimensional simulations of giant-planet accretion and disk clearing ↗
We develop accelerated three-dimensional simulations of growing planet pairs that draw on a finite gas reservoir. An annulus compression (Scaling A) shortens the predicted clearing time and shrinks the computational domain at equal grid resolution while preserving key physical parameters. Planetary seeds start with Hill radii equal to the disk scale height, retaining three-dimensional accretion. We demonstrate the method in scaled PDS 70 and Solar-System configurations, assuming perfect Hill capture by growing planets on circular orbits. We compare Scaling A at radius-compression factor \(Γ=1.…

Photometric and Spectroscopic Observations of Comet 2P/Encke's Nucleus in the Mid-Infrared Wavelength Region ↗
We observed comet 2P/Encke with the Cooled Mid-Infrared Camera and Spectrometer (COMICS) on the Subaru telescope on UT 2003 November 12.3, when the comet was at heliocentric and geocentric distances of 1.09 and 0.27 au, respectively. Imaging observations of the comet with narrow-band filters centered at 8.8, 10.5, 11.7, 12.4, 18.8, and 24.5 $μ$m and low-resolution spectroscopic observations in the N-band (8-13 $μ$m, $R\sim250$) of the comet were performed. The observed spatial profiles of the comet were consistent with those of a standard star (FWHM $\sim$ 0.3'' at 10.5 $μ$m, close to the diff…

How to assess evidence about Space
Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
