THE INTERNET IS THINKING
Earlier sources: Science
Science investigates the natural world through observation, experiments, and mathematical models. Explore papers and developments in biology, medicine, materials, neuroscience, physics, climate, and mathematics; a reported finding is not necessarily established consensus.
SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.
Open in the map ↗1533 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.
Earlier sources
Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Lipid Nanoparticles at the Crossroads of Chemistry and Medicine: A Tutorial ↗
Abstract Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) have risen to the forefront of modern therapeutics by enabling the clinical success of COVID-19 mRNA vaccines. In order for them to function as drug delivery vesicles, LNPs must have scalable, tunable, and targeted nanoscale platforms whose strengths in versatility, performance, and clinical relevance are driven by key design parameters and formulation strategies. This Tutorial Review traces the historical evolution of LNPs and examines the fundamental design principles governing their structure, physicochemical properties, and biological behavior. It furthe…

Physics-informed machine learning for robust calibration and physiological validation of wearable electrochemical sweat biosensors for metabolite monitoring ↗
Wearable medical devices represent a most adequately investigated research paradigm inherent to their continuous, non-invasive health monitoring capabilities. Electrochemical biosensors are the basic units in such devices, and they are responsible for reliable biomarker measurements from non-invasive biofluids like sweat. However, such biosensors are often affected by calibration drift, which directly influences the reliability of their results. Biosensor responses are affected by numerous factors like device-dependent parameters, environmental variability, and complex physiological factors. T…

A podophyllotoxin-loaded nanostructured lipid carrier markedly suppresses tumor growth in mice by inducing DNA damage and activating the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway ↗
Abstract The application of many anticancer agents is limited by poor bioavailability, low tumor-targeting efficiency, and systemic toxicity. Although Podophyllotoxin (PPT) possesses potent anti-tumor activity, its clinical utility is constrained by these drawbacks. Nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) represent a promising strategy to overcome such limitations. Therefore, this study aimed to improve the anticancer efficacy of PPT through encapsulation in a newly synthesized NLC formulation. Ehrlich Solid Carcinoma (ESC)-bearing mice were treated with free PPT or PPT-loaded NLC (PPT-NLC) at do…

Systematic identification of site-associated blood-based signature patterns across 29 infection types: a large-scale analysis of 455,530 patients toward precision infection medicine ↗
Accurate infection diagnosis remains challenging due to overlapping clinical presentations and lack of site-associated biomarker profiling. This study represents the first comprehensive investigation to systematically characterize site-associated blood-based signature patterns across multiple anatomical systems and infection types. This retrospective study analyzed 455,530 infection patients and 55,010 healthy controls. Infections were classified into 29 site-associated types across five anatomical systems. Propensity score matching and multiple imputation were applied. Beyond conventional dif…

Daraxonrasib and the era of pan-RAS inhibition: mechanisms, clinical advances, and resistance landscapes ↗
Activating RAS mutations drive a substantial proportion of human cancers, yet for decades RAS was considered undruggable. The recent development of tri-complex inhibitors (TCIs) such as daraxonrasib (RMC-6236) has transformed the therapeutic landscape by enabling potent, multi-selective targeting of the active, GTP-bound state of multiple RAS isoforms. This review synthesizes preclinical and clinical evidence on daraxonrasib and related RAS(ON) inhibitors across RAS-mutant malignancies, including pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, colorectal cancer, melanoma, and cho…

Design implications from research trends in generative AI for mathematics learning in higher education: A bibliometric study ↗
This study investigates the development and thematic evolution of research on generative artificial intelligence (AI) in higher-education mathematics through a bibliometric analysis of 256 Scopus-indexed publications from 1985 to 2025. Utilizing VOSviewer and Bibliometrix, the analysis examines publication and citation trends, research collaboration, influential contributors, and thematic structures within the field. The findings demonstrate a substantial increase in both publication volume and citation frequency, particularly in recent years, indicating heightened scholarly interest in genera…

The genome sequence of Sea Aster, Tripolium pannonicum (Jacq. Dobrocz., 1962) (Asterales: Asteraceae) ↗
We present a genome assembly of Tripolium pannonicum (Sea Aster; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Asterales; Asteraceae). The assembly consists of two haplotypes with total lengths of 8,348.75 megabases and 8,399.67 megabases. Most of the haplotype 1 assembly (96.46%) was scaffolded into nine chromosomal pseudomolecules. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial sequences have lengths of 207.15, 83.31 and 15.99 kilobases and the plastid genome assembly has a length of 153.21 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces refer…

Noise-enhanced quantum kernels on analog quantum computers for estimating the non-Markovianity from sparse temporal data ↗
The quantum kernel method, a promising quantum machine learning algorithm, possesses substantial potential for demonstrating a quantum advantage. While most quantum kernels are constructed in the context of gate-based quantum circuits, inspired by the idea of analog quantum computing with Rydberg atoms, here we construct an analog quantum kernel and a hybrid quantum kernel, and demonstrate their competitiveness against other standard baselines in the physically motivated task of estimating the non-Markovianity from sparse temporal data. Crucially, we report a counterintuitive phenomenon where…

Nanoencapsulated flavonoids for inflammatory bowel disease: a targeted approach toward clinical application ↗
Abstract Flavonoids influence the composition of the intestinal microbiota, barrier integrity, and local immune responses, making them promising candidates for oral therapies in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). However, their clinical use is limited by low solubility, molecular instability, and poor oral bioavailability, which hinder their ability to reach therapeutic levels at intestinal target sites, a limitation especially relevant in IBD, where delivering sufficient drug to the inflamed colonic mucosa is crucial. Nanoencapsulation is a promising, emerging solution, although the path to cl…

Pediatric thoracic magnetic resonance imaging: current evidence, technical advances, and clinical integration ↗
This review summarizes established, emerging, and investigational techniques in pediatric thoracic magnetic resonance (MR) imaging (MRI), with emphasis on practical protocol optimization, motion mitigation, clinical implementation, and modality selection relative to computed tomography (CT). Thoracic MRI remains technically challenging because of low proton density, short apparent transverse relaxation time, and continuous cardiorespiratory motion. Conventional fast and motion- robust sequences, including single-shot T2-weighted imaging, three-dimensional T1-weighted spoiled gradient echo imag…

How to assess evidence about Science
Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
