Earlier sources: Science
Science investigates the natural world through observation, experiments, and mathematical models. Explore papers and developments in biology, medicine, materials, neuroscience, physics, climate, and mathematics; a reported finding is not necessarily established consensus.
SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.
Open in the map ↗1656 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.
Earlier sources
Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

NxM-Version Programming for Quantum Software: High-Level Components across Frameworks and Engines ↗
Quantum computing has in recent years evolved from a purely theoretical field to an active area in both academia and industry. As a result, Quantum Software Engineering has emerged as an area that aims to organize the process of building, testing, and running quantum software. However, writing quantum software still requires programming with quantum gates and qubits, as well as knowledge specific to quantum software frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, Qrisp, pyQuil and PennyLane, each of which reaches quantum hardware through its own toolchain. We present Quanifi, which packages the high-level ro…

High-fidelity geometric quantum gates exceeding 99.9% in germanium quantum dots ↗
Achieving high-fidelity and robust qubit manipulations is a crucial requirement for realizing faulttolerant quantum computation. Here, we demonstrate a single-hole spin qubit in a germanium quantum dot and characterize its control fidelity using gate set tomography. The maximum control fidelities reach 97.48%, 99.81%, 99.88% for the I, X/2 and Y /2 gate, respectively. These results reveal that off-resonance noise during consecutive I gates in gate set tomography sequences severely limits qubit performance. Therefore, we introduce geometric quantum computation to realize noiseresilient qubit ma…

Baroclinic Annular Mode Modulates Global Atmospheric Rivers and Extreme Precipitation ↗
The Baroclinic Annular Mode (BAM) strongly influences extratropical circulation, yet its role in the global hydrological cycle remains unclear. Using ERA5 reanalysis and a global atmospheric river (AR) database, we show that BAM systematically reorganizes AR occurrence and extreme precipitation in both hemispheres. During high-BAM states, AR frequency increases along the flanks of major storm tracks and decreases near their climatological cores, redistributing preferred AR corridors. Relative AR-frequency changes locally exceed 50%, with the most zonally coherent patterns over the Southern Oce…

The Mechanism of Whey Protein Hydrolysates with Oral Immunotolerance ↗
To investigate the mechanism of oral immune tolerance induced by whey protein hydrolysates, this study utilized five industrially used proteases to hydrolyze whey protein and prepared the hydrolysates. An oral immune tolerance model was established using Balb/c mice. The levels of specific IgG, IgE, and histamine in the serum of mice from the five hydrolysate-preventive groups were measured. The expression levels of genes and proteins associated with the MAPK signaling pathway in small intestinal mast cells were analyzed using qPCR and Western blot. The results demonstrated that the expression…

Gm26550 Modulates Learning and Memory by Increasing IGF1 mRNA Expression and Stability in Nrf2 −/− Mice ↗
ABSTRACT Nrf2 dysfunction is implicated in learning and memory deficits, but the involvement of non‐coding RNAs in Nrf2‐dependent cognitive regulation remains largely unexplored. Here, by analyzing the expression profiles of lncRNAs and mRNAs in the hippocampus of wild‐type (WT) and Nrf2 knockout (Nrf2 −/− ) mice, we identified a decreased expression of lncRNA Gm26550 in Nrf2 −/− mice. Overexpression of Gm26550 enhances hippocampal neuronal synaptic plasticity and rescues learning and memory deficits in Nrf2 −/− mice. Mechanistically, Nrf2 directly binds the promoter of Gm26550 to drive its tr…

Translational Barriers and AI‐Driven Challenges of Microfluidics‐Enabled Wearables and Implantable Systems in Personalized Medicine ↗
Wearable and implantable microfluidic systems have progressed from laboratory prototypes toward translational clinical deployment, enabling continuous, minimally invasive sampling of dynamic biomarkers across sweat, saliva, tears, and interstitial fluid. However, existing reviews often address materials chemistry or device fabrication in isolation, obscuring the systemic path to clinical translation. This review establishes a cohesive, translation-focused linear trajectory starting from foundational functional biomaterials and advanced fabrication techniques, transitioning into a performance b…

Predicting Enzyme Turnover Numbers and Enabling Rational Enzyme Evolution ↗
ABSTRACT Enzyme turnover number () is a central kinetic parameter for biocatalysis, but experimental determination is low‐throughput and existing computational methods inadequately model enzyme–reaction interplay. Here, we introduced MCKcat, a deep learning framework that integrates multi‐scale convolutional feature extraction and cross‐attention to enable deep, reciprocal fusion of enzyme sequence and reaction fingerprint representations for accurate prediction. We constructed MCKcat‐DB, a large‐scale dataset comprising 33 396 enzyme‐reaction‐based data points, covering both wild‐type enzymes…

FBP1‐Mediated Compartmentalization of Glycolytic Enzyme Complexes Suppresses PKM2 Function to Ameliorate MASLD Progression ↗
Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is driven by aberrant hepatocyte glycolytic reprogramming. Fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase 1 (FBP1), a key gluconeogenic enzyme, has poorly defined roles in MASLD progression. Here, we show that FBP1 is consistently downregulated during MASLD progression, with a progressive decline from MASL to MASH in clinical specimens and key preclinical models. Mechanistically, FBP1 directly interacts with glycolytic enzymes Pyruvate kinase M2 (PKM2), Enolase 1 (ENO1), and Lactate Dehydrogenase A (LDHA) to form compartmentalized complexes, suppre…

Amaranth ( Amaranthus hypochondriacus ) seed protein hydrolysate with optimized hydrolysis degree in Nile tilapia ( Oreochromis niloticus ) diets: effects on antinutritional factors and in vivo digestibility ↗
This study evaluated the effect of optimized protein hydrolysate from amaranth ( A. hypochondriacus ) seeds on antinutritional factors and apparent digestibility in Nile tilapia diets. The hydrolysate was produced using Alcalase® 2.4 L (pH 8, 55 °C, 1:10 w/v), achieving an optimal degree of hydrolysis of 79.79% at 150 min (defined as the shortest time to reach the hydrolysis plateau). Three isonitrogenous diets were formulated: a reference diet (RD) and two experimental diets replacing 30% of fishmeal with raw amaranth meal (RAM) and hydrolyzed amaranth meal (HAM). Trials were conducted in tri…
