THE INTERNET IS THINKING
Earlier sources: Software
Software turns computational ideas into tools and services. This region follows open source projects, developer tools, programming languages, databases, operating systems, and web and cloud platforms.
SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.
Open in the map ↗2096 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.
Earlier sources
Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Predictive Rerouting of Connected and Automated Vehicles Using Traffic and Charging Demand Forecasts ↗
In this paper, we consider the problem of predictive rerouting of connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) in mixed traffic with electric vehicle charging demand. We provide a framework that combines a diffusion convolutional recurrent neural network (DCRNN) with a routing policy that accounts for congestion, CO2 emissions, route length, and charging demand. The DCRNN uses historical network observations to forecast traffic conditions and charging demand. These forecasts are then used to evaluate feasible alternative routes for eligible CAVs. A route change is accepted when the alternative pres…

mcpdelta/mcpdelta ↗
Delta MCP is a free app that sits between your AI apps and their MCP servers: any server, every tool. It checks each task before it runs, applies it all or nothing, reads back what it changed and lets you undo it. Far fewer tokens on multi-step tasks, and shortcuts that run on a schedule. Coming soon for macOS, Windows and Linux.

A Compositional Perspective on Communication-Control Co-Design for Mobile Broadband Systems Beyond 6G ↗
Anticipated applications of beyond sixth-generation (B6G) mobile broadband networks will require the co-design of communication and control subsystems within the network architecture. Existing co-design approaches are predominantly optimization-driven, integrating subsystems through joint optimization problems. While this approach is effective in relatively simple systems, such formulations present challenges in (i) modular subsystem representations, (ii) tracing the propagation of requirements across subsystems, and (iii) systematically analyzing design-space feasibility, particularly as the…

Truecell reproduces R Seurat's single-cell analysis outputs natively in the Python ecosystem ↗
Single-cell RNA-sequencing analyses predominantly use either Seurat (R) or Scanpy (Python), with the choice often driven by programming language preference. However, by default, these tools produce divergent variable features, neighbour graphs, clusters, and marker genes. Laboratories requiring Python, which supports most deep-learning, foundation-model, and agent tools, must re-implement Seurat analyses in a framework that does not replicate Seurat's results. Truecell was developed as a Python implementation of the Seurat interface, preserving function names, arguments, default settings, and…

Before They Can Solve: Predicting Post-Training Coding-Agent Performance from Base Models ↗
How can we predict which base checkpoint is worth an expensive round of agentic post-training? End-to-end pass@$K$ tests whether successful behavior already appears in a base model's distribution, but it is a poor fit for agentic coding: many base checkpoints cannot reliably produce the well-formed tool invocation required to complete a task end-to-end. Single-shot or short-horizon tasks avoid these tool-calling failures by collapsing a multi-step interaction into a fixed prompt and a single patch, but they sidestep the core capability we care about: maintaining coherent state over many tool-u…

How to assess evidence about Software
Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
