THE INTERNET IS THINKING
Earlier sources: Software
Software turns computational ideas into tools and services. This region follows open source projects, developer tools, programming languages, databases, operating systems, and web and cloud platforms.
SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.
Open in the map ↗2067 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.
Earlier sources
Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

MINT: Modeling GenAI Impact on Network Traffic ↗
Generative AI (GenAI) is becoming a mainstream network workload, yet packet-level simulators lack measure\-ment-driven GenAI traffic models. Currently researchers must approximate GenAI services using traditional sources such as file transfer and video streaming, limiting realistic network evaluation of scheduling and capacity planning. We present MINT, a measurement and modeling framework for GenAI network traffic. Using an isolated net\-work-namespace capture pipeline, we collect client-side traces from three LLM providers across four modalities, cloud and edge servers, and wired and wireles…

Show HN: Open-source agent runtime using your ChatGPT or Claude subscription ↗
Hey HN! Sharing my work on an open-source agent runtime (like n8n, but for agents). It's OSI open-source under AGPL-3. People have been using it to build agents that handle support queries, automated resolution, WhatsApp chatbots, etc.

Show HN: Sprout – a TUI habit tracker written in Rust ↗
Hi! I built this little terminal app to track my habits! I built this mainly to learn Rust, but it turned into something I actually use every day now. All data is stored in a single SQLite file locally. The app is built using Ratatui, a Rust library for building terminal UIs. Really fun to work with! Also contributed a couple of issues back to Ratatui while building this. You can check it out on gh: https://github.com/kb019/sprout Thanks!

How to assess evidence about Software
Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
