THE INTERNET IS THINKING

Earlier sources: Cryptography

This security thread follows cryptography through original research, public projects, and source reports. Read the evidence below to see which developments are represented in SYMTRI’s archive.

SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.

44 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.

Earlier sources

Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

A 3D Memristive Hyperchaotic Map with Bounce-Escape Zigzag Scrambling for Color Image Encryption ↗

As the need for secure image encryption grows, chaotic cryptography using hyperchaotic systems has attracted significant attention. This article proposes a novel three-dimensional (3D) memristive hyperchaotic map. We analyze the map using phase portraits, Lyapunov exponents, sensitivity analysis, the 0-1 test, Lyapunov dimension, bifurcation diagrams, and Kolmogorov–Sinai entropy. The map has two positive Lyapunov exponents, and the Kaplan–Yorke dimension equals three, confirming strong hyperchaotic dynamics across a wide parameter range. Based on this map, we introduce a new color image encry…

Dynamic pixel-wise hybrid multi-chaotic image encryption with DCT steganography and CNN-assisted restoration ↗

Abstract Image encryption has become an essential requirement for protecting sensitive visual information, particularly in medical imaging, military communications, cloud storage, and multimedia transmission systems, where unauthorized access and cyberattacks continue to increase rapidly. However, many existing chaos-based image cryptosystems still suffer from several limitations, including weak randomness, insufficient resistance against statistical and differential attacks, fixed chaotic initial conditions, high computational complexity, and limited robustness against image-processing attack…

A migration framework for post quantum cryptography in 6G telecommunications ↗

Abstract Future mobile networks cannot migrate uniformly to post-quantum cryptography because long-lived trust anchors, constrained devices, external partners, edge services, slices, and non-terrestrial paths have different threats and deployment limits. This paper presents the Telecom Quantum-Safe Migration Framework (T-QSMF), a pre-standard 6G planning method that separates confidentiality harvesting from future authentication forgery, applies non-compensatory gates, and maps risk and constraint evidence to six treatments. Evaluation combines repeat software benchmarks, a pinned-key loopback…

How to assess evidence about Cryptography

Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
