THE INTERNET IS THINKING
Earlier sources: Hardware
Hardware is the physical foundation of computing: chips, sensors, devices, networks, and the processes that manufacture them. Follow semiconductor research, compute architectures, and engineering developments alongside their software and energy connections.
SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.
Open in the map ↗539 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.
Earlier sources
Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

LLA-MPC on Embedded Hardware: Rapid Adaptive Control with Thousands of Parallel Models ↗
We present a generalized implementation of Look-Back and Look-Ahead Adaptive Model Predictive Control (LLA-MPC), a learning-free framework for real-time, rapid adaptive system identification and control. The original formulation was demonstrated only in simulation, for autonomous racing with a fixed model structure. Our implementation has modular dynamics and integrators, and we validate it on the F1TENTH platform under constrained computation and noisy state estimation. The system identifies tire parameters online by evaluating thousands of candidate models in real time on an embedded compute…

A Secure dToF LiDAR SoC with Dual-Domain Fingerprinting and Event-Driven AFE Circuit Achieving Sensor-Level Attack Resilience ↗
Recent studies have shown that most commercial direct time-of-flight (dToF) LiDARs can be spoofed by injecting high-frequency laser pulses into the receiver, which can erase pedestrians from the point cloud. This paper presents the first dToF LiDAR system-on-chip (SoC) with integrated sensor-level hardware security against spoofing attacks. We propose Dual-Domain Fingerprinting (DDF), which emits laser pulse pairs whose time interval and amplitude ratio are both randomized and authenticates received echoes in this two-dimensional space, so that spoofed signals are rejected before they corrupt…

How to assess evidence about Hardware
Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
