THE INTERNET IS THINKING
Earlier sources: Hardware
Hardware is the physical foundation of computing: chips, sensors, devices, networks, and the processes that manufacture them. Follow semiconductor research, compute architectures, and engineering developments alongside their software and energy connections.
SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.
Open in the map ↗522 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.
Earlier sources
Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Two-step self-calibration for circular acoustic vector sensor array under axis-angle bias ↗
In this work, we consider the problem of joint calibration and direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation for a non-ideal circular acoustic vector sensor array (CAVSA), where the particle velocity sensors of the acoustic vector sensors (AVSs) are either orthogonal or non-orthogonal and suffer from axis-angle bias. For these two types of non-ideal array configurations, a two-step self-calibration method based on the Capon cost function and the subspace criterion is proposed. The proposed method decouples the axis-angle bias vector from the CAVSA steering vector. An optimization problem is formulated…

Toward Sustainable Clay-based Additive Manufacturing: Fresh-State and Hardened Mechanical Characterization of 3D-Printable Benjellik Clay Paste ↗
Introduction/Objective Additive manufacturing (AM), particularly 3D printing, has revolutionized material processing by enabling complex geometries with high precision and minimal waste. While Fez-Moroccan clays (specifically from the Benjellik quarry) have been thoroughly characterized for their mineralogical and physicochemical properties, their mechanical behavior - essential for assessing buildability and structural integrity in printed structures - remains poorly understood. This study aims to address this limitation by evaluating the mechanical performance of a 3D-printable clay paste. M…

An electrocatalytic, cobalt-phthalocyanine screen-printed carbon voltammetric sensor for the measurement of the antioxidant gallic acid in instant coffee ↗
Abstract A disposable, low-cost, screen-printed carbon electrode (SPCE), modified with cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPC), has been successfully employed as a voltammetric sensor for the determination of gallic acid (GA) in coffee. The cyclic voltammetric (CV) behaviour of GA indicates that this antioxidant undergoes electrocatalytic oxidation at the CoPC-SPCE in a supporting electrolyte of 0.1 M PBS (pH 3.0); the oxidation product was identified as a quinone species. Calibration studies were performed with the electrocatalytic sensor in conjunction with differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). Well-de…

How to assess evidence about Hardware
Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
