THE INTERNET IS THINKING
Earlier sources: Software
Software turns computational ideas into tools and services. This region follows open source projects, developer tools, programming languages, databases, operating systems, and web and cloud platforms.
SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.
Open in the map ↗2062 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.
Earlier sources
Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Side‐Chain Terminal Engineering Enables 18% Efficient Non‐Fused Ring Electron Acceptor Organic Solar Cells via Crystallization Control ↗
ABSTRACT Non‐fused ring electron acceptors (NFREAs) provide a low‐cost alternative to fused‐ring electron acceptors for organic solar cells (OSCs). Nevertheless, how terminal substituents on alkyl side chains modulate the crystallization behavior of NFREAs remains largely underexplored. Herein, two NFREAs, namely TTF‐F (fluorine‐terminated side chains) and TTO‐F (methoxy‐terminated side chains), were constructed with identical intramolecular conformational locks and terminal IC acceptor units. Although the two molecules possess nearly identical electronic structures, in situ UV–vis absorption…

Topology‐Guided Hierarchical Programming of Transfer Characteristics in Single‐Molecule Electrochemical Transistors ↗
ABSTRACT Hierarchical control of molecular transport requires not only multiple regulatory inputs, but also a relationship in which an initial structural feature influences how a subsequent stimulus modifies the transport response. Here, we investigate this concept using two azulene‐based molecular wires that share the same conjugated core and thioether anchor chemistry but differ in the position of one terminal anchoring group on an ancillary phenyl ring. Electrochemically gated scanning tunneling microscope break junction measurements were used to map their conductance‐potential characterist…

Adaptive Decision-Making Policies for Stochastic Electric Vehicle Routing with Time Windows Using Genetic Programming ↗
Intelligent transportation systems increasingly rely on electric vehicle fleets operating under uncertain conditions, where routing decisions must adapt to changes in customer demand, service duration, and travel time while satisfying battery, charging, capacity, and time-window constraints. This work extends a genetic programming (GP)-based route generation scheme (RGS) to the stochastic electric vehicle routing problem with time windows (EVRPTW) and positions it as a downstream decision layer for sensor-enabled fleet management: progressively revealed operational conditions update the route…

Calibration-assisted stress-optic phase programming for a 3D-printed optical neural-network frontend ↗
We report a calibration-assisted stress-optic phase-programming method for a 3D-printed optical neural-network (ONN) frontend. Full-vector stress-optic modeling gives a full-stress effective-index shift of Δ 𝑛 e f f = − 2 . 1 2 8 4 × 1 0 − 4 at 850 nm, setting the phase-length rule for Mach–Zehnder interferometer (MZI) phase shifters. A matched MPB modal proxy reproduces the modeled phase sensitivity with a ratio of 0.999,396, giving phase errors below 0 . 0 0 1 2 𝜋 for the evaluated 4- and 8-node phase sets. MZI measurements across three annealing conditions show a monotonic reduction i…

Evaluating OpenMP Offloading for Intra-Node Multi-GPU Programming Across NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel Architectures: A 3D Heat Transfer Case Study ↗
Currently, many of the leading supercomputers are equipped with GPUs from manufacturers such as NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel, which provide substantial parallelism and high throughput. It is common for a single compute node to host multiple GPUs (typically four or more); we refer to this as an intra-node multi-GPU setting. Therefore, effectively leveraging all these GPUs within a single compute node is essential for applications in scientific and engineering domains. However, several factors must be considered before utilizing these GPUs for scientific computing, including the implementation of data…

How to assess evidence about Software
Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
