THE INTERNET IS THINKING

Earlier sources: Software

Software turns computational ideas into tools and services. This region follows open source projects, developer tools, programming languages, databases, operating systems, and web and cloud platforms.

SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.

2091 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.

Earlier sources

Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Online Automated Clamping Error Compensation for Robotic Grinding of Turbine Blade Thermal Barrier Coatings via Reference Point Cloud Registration ↗

This paper presents an automated clamping error compensation method for robotic grinding of thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) on turbine blades. In the eye-to-hand robotic grinding cell, a fixed line-laser scanner acquires a point cloud after each blade pickup. The key innovation is a reference-scan strategy: the first blade in a batch is calibrated once with manual assistance, and its scanned point cloud is stored as the reference, against which every subsequent pickup is localized by Trimmed-ICP fine registration. Because the clamping error is mechanically bounded and lies inside the ICP conve…

Parameter Estimation of a Single-Phase Diode-Bridge Rectifier Under Steady-State, Load Variation, and Startup Transient Using Terminal Measurements ↗

This paper presents a numerical framework for parameter estimation of a single-phase diode-bridge rectifier with capacitive filtering. The proposed approach integrates a state-space model of the rectifier, numerically solved using the second-order Backward Differentiation Formula (BDF2), with a derivative-free Nelder–Mead optimization algorithm. Parameter estimation is performed using only terminal voltage and current measurements, eliminating the need for explicit conduction-interval detection or direct measurement of internal circuit states. The framework is experimentally validated under th…

RAG-ReAct empowered large language models for localized intelligent bridge operation and maintenance: a knowledge-driven agentic approach ↗

Bridges serve as critical transportation infrastructure hubs. The recent breakthroughs in large language models (LLMs) offer transformative potential for intelligent bridge operation and maintenance (O&M), but their direct application is hindered by domain-specific hallucination, black-box reasoning opacity, and passive response limitations. This manuscript proposes a knowledge-driven, edge-side bridge O&M agent based on LLMs, addressing those critical limitations of general-purpose LLMs in specialized structural health monitoring (SHM) domains. The methodology centers on three core technical…

How to assess evidence about Software

Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
