THE INTERNET IS THINKING

Earlier sources: Databases

Databases organize information for storage and retrieval. Follow relational and nonrelational systems, query engines, indexing, replication, and operational tools; performance claims depend on workload and configuration.

SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.

98 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.

Earlier sources

Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Show HN: Offline NHTSA VIN decoder, verified against NHTSA's own SQL ↗

I ported NHTSA's spVinDecode to TypeScript and run it on Cloudflare Workers over the official monthly vPIC dump, so decoding needs no call to NHTSA (p50 about 1.4 ms). How it's checked: It is compared with NHTSA's own SQL functions on the original dump in PostgreSQL. There were 0 unexplained differences on 11,000 VINs. It matches the live API on 95.4% of 1,000 VINs. The rest is newer live data. While doing this I found that spvindecode in the Pos…

    # `cy-database` — Calabi–Yau geometries for string-compactification workflows Precomputed Calabi–Yau threefold data, organised as a family of **sub-datasets**, accessed through the [`stringforge`](https://github.com/AndreasSchachner/stringforge) infrastructure package. Each sub-dataset covers one class of Calabi–Yau constructions and is keyed by a class-specific identifier system. This top-level card describes the conventions, layout, and loading interface that are common to all sub-datasets. Each sub-dataset has its own card with construction-specific details. ## Available sub-datasets | Sub-

How to assess evidence about Databases

Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
