SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.

616 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.

Earlier sources

Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Pricing the Unprovable: Ambiguity, Turnstile Runs, and the Verifiability Discount in Crypto Protocols ↗

Privacy-preserving protocols can repair a vulnerability without establishing whether it was exploited beforehand, even when no theft is reported and aggregate supply is protected. We call the potential value reduction from this gap the verifiability discount. A turnstile model shows how early withdrawal can shift a possible shortfall to remaining holders and why credible evidence can become more valuable as exposure grows. We introduce VDISC, a reproducible framework that records reported loss, exposed value, public evidence, returns, and pool flows separately. It combines Orchard's staged dis…

On the Robustness of Gossip Protocols in Modern Blockchains ↗

Modern platforms such as Ethereum and Polkadot nowadays execute Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus protocols over large validator committees, often comprising hundreds of nodes. At this scale, complete graph topologies for connecting nodes are impractical, leading systems to adopt various gossip mechanisms, often in an ad hoc manner. In this paper, we study the robustness of widely deployed gossip protocols used in committee-based blockchains against realistic network adversaries. We show, both analytically and through extensive empirical measurements, that the graph parameters commonly chosen…

    NEST: Stale-Robust Tokenized-Stock Measurement for a Crypto-Treasury LETF Stack ↗

Tokenized equities trade while listed markets are closed, so their marks could improve off-hours measurement along layered exposures that link Bitcoin, crypto-treasury stocks, and leveraged ETFs. A token return and the next opening gap, however, share the price move from the previous close to the token mark, so part of their apparent fit is mechanical. We develop NEST, a stale-robust protocol that separates this shared-history fit from conditional measurement value. A shared-history identity and a variance-clock bound show how much fit timing alone can generate. The partial determination index…

Event Log Behavioral Privacy Protection Method Based on Relaxed Behavioral Profiles ↗

Privacy preservation techniques for event logs prevent sensitive information leakage by injecting noise into log data, thus mitigating privacy risks in business process management. While ensuring privacy, this approach often reduces data utility and impacts subsequent analysis accuracy. Current research mainly optimizes noise injection based on data attributes to preserve utility, but overlooks how behavioral relationship changes affect data quality. To address this, this paper proposes a privacy protection method for event logs based on relaxed behavioral profiles. First, a behavioral privacy…

Regulatory-Gated Zero-Trust Access Control for Cross-Border Data Sharing with Policy-Bound Blockchain Arbitration ↗

Cross-border data access requires regulatory eligibility and current security authorization. We developed a four-state regulatory gate and permissioned-ledger arbitration prototype that binds a signed PERMIT declaration, evaluator attestations, and active policies to one request. A frozen 24-case hold-out agreed with an independent engineering review in 22 cases; no non-PERMIT case was classified as PERMIT. The V3 Besu Quorum Byzantine Fault Tolerance (QBFT) contracts enforce request and deployment binding, freshness, replay checks, current policy reads, and audit consistency. All 36 selected…

EEG-biometric authentication system using multi-paradigm neurophysiological measurements and artificial intelligence ↗

Electroencephalography (EEG) provides a promising physiological modality for biometric authentication due to its inherent neural uniqueness and resistance to spoofing attacks. However, reliable EEG-based authentication remains challenging because brain signals are highly non-stationary and vary across cognitive states. To address this limitation, this study proposes a multi-paradigm neurophysiological measurement protocol designed to capture stable subject-specific EEG signatures across diverse brain conditions. EEG signals were recorded from participants during six complementary paradigms, in…

How to assess evidence about Security

Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
