617 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.

Earlier sources

Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

ZK-AdapterMark: Privacy-Preserving Provenance Evidence for LoRA Adapters ↗

Low-rank adaptation (LoRA) fine-tunes a large model with a low-rank update over frozen weights. The update travels as a separate adapter file that is easy to copy, alter, and re-upload; so, a hub may have to decide whether a disputed file derives from a registered adapter. Since an altered copy no longer matches the original byte for byte, the usual tool is a fingerprint, secret measurements of the weights that survive moderate edits. Verifying a fingerprint currently requires disclosing either the measurements, which a copier can then evade, or the possibly confidential weights. ZK-AdapterMar…

Privacy and security in electronic health systems: a cross-sectional survey of user awareness, trust, and public health implications ↗

The study explores security protocols, vulnerabilities and mitigation measures of electronic health platforms. The data was obtained from survey responses of 226 participants comprising 115 patients and 111 healthcare professionals in Queensland, Australia. The study used a cross-sectional quantitative design to evaluate user awareness, user trust, user understanding of the regulations, user authentication methods, and user incident response capabilities. The findings reveal notable deficiencies in user education, employee training, adherence to regulations, and response to incidents. Multi-fa…

A methodology to analyse road network vulnerability to shocks: Some evidence from two metropolitan areas in the south of Italy ↗

Network vulnerability plays a critical role in the functioning of metropolitan areas, where transportation systems are integral to sustaining economic activities and facilitating daily commuting. However, these networks are highly susceptible to disruptions, which can result from accidents, infrastructure breakdowns, or natural disasters. This study analyses the impacts on mobility caused by a traffic disruption in metropolitan areas; the case study are the cities of Bari and Naples. An accessibility indicator and a traffic flow and travel time-based indicator (link importance index) have been…

Hybrid Vulnerability Discovery in the Wild: Automated Screening, Fine-Tuned LLMs, and Four Published CVEs ↗

Automated security scanners produce many alerts, but disclosure requires evidence of attacker control, reachability, impact, and reproducibility. We present an evidence-gated workflow that screens recently updated Python AI/ML and data-science packages then uses two separately fine-tuned open-weight agents to distinguish vulnerability plausibility from CVE worthiness: the first tests attacker control and reachability, and the second assesses novelty and impact before human proof-of-concept validation and coordinated disclosure. In a targeted campaign covering 400 packages, screening yielded 12…

A qualitative case study of cybersecurity fatigue and human-centric vulnerabilities in the SaaS sector ↗

Purpose Cybersecurity fatigue is an important organisational issue, especially in high-pressure operational contexts such as Software-as-a-Service environments. As organisations implement stricter security controls and mandatory training, this can inadvertently place psychological strain on employees. This study/paper aims to identify specific operational demands and workflow characteristics contributing to employee cybersecurity fatigue and analyse the subsequent behavioural implications. Design/methodology/approach This study adopted an interpretivist, qualitative approach, using semi-struct…

A Secure and Privacy-Preserving ABAC-Driven Remote Patient Monitoring System Using Blockchain Technology ↗

Rapid development in remote monitoring healthcare systems has led to the need for secure, efficient, and privacy-preserving methods for handling sensitive patient data. Centralized healthcare systems usually experience problems such as unauthorized access, lack of transparency, single point of failure, and difficulty with auditing, among others, that may compromise both patients’ data privacy and security. In order to solve this, the proposed system offers decentralized, transparent, and secure data management in healthcare using blockchain technology and the ABAC approach. A Hyperledger frame…

A Frequency-Integrated Electromagnetic Vulnerability Index for Electronic Systems in Complex Electromagnetic Environments ↗

This paper proposes a frequency-integrated electromagnetic vulnerability index (FI-EVI), which is a reference-weighted susceptibility-screening metric for shielded electronic enclosures rather than a direct measure of functional failure. The frequency-resolved vulnerability is defined as the internal-to-reference RMS field ratio, VE(f) = Eint,rms(f)/Eref,rms(f), and FI-EVI is its log-frequency average from 10 MHz to 18 GHz. All cases use a swept-frequency incident plane wave of 1 V/m RMS and, as a common normalization benchmark, the MIL-STD-461G RS103 aircraft-internal limit (20 V/m up to 1 GH…

DEVELOPING STUDENTS' INFORMATION SECURITY COMPETENCE IN THE AGE OF GENERATIVE AI: A QUASI-EXPERIMENTAL STUDY IN UZBEK HIGHER EDUCATION ↗

Generative AI tools are now part of students' everyday academic work, but the information security risks involved are rarely covered in curricula. Students leak their own and other people's data into external systems, rely on fabricated output and fall for AI-enhanced social engineering. This paper reports a quasi-experimental study of a pedagogical model designed to develop students' information security competence in the context of AI tools. The model is based on a pedagogical classification of AI related threats into four groups (input data, output, access and account, cognitive-behavioural…

A Multi-Kinase Inhibitor Screen Identifies mTOR Signaling as a Vulnerability in Advanced Prostate Cancer. ↗

The receptor tyrosine kinase AXL has context-dependent roles in prostate cancer (PCa). Although AXL signaling has been implicated in PCa progression, it can also promote disseminated tumor cell dormancy. Paradoxically, AXL expression has been reported to be lost in metastatic PCa. This raises two critical questions: Is AXL loss associated with aggressive disease, and does it create therapeutically exploitable vulnerabilities? In this study, we comprehensively analyzed AXL expression across pan-cancer and PCa cohorts and found that AXL downregulation was significantly associated with treatment

CVE-2026-76519: Cisco Secure Email Gateway Relative Path Traversal Vulnerability ↗

Cisco Secure Email Gateway contains a relative path traversal vulnerability that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to write arbitrary files on the underlying operating system. Required action: Apply mitigations in accordance with vendor instructions, ensuring compliance with CISA’s BOD 26-04 Prioritizing Security Updates Based on Risk (see URL in Notes) guidance and CISA’s “Forensics Triage Requirements” (see URL in Notes). Follow applicable BOD 26-04 guidance for cloud services or discontinue use of the product if mitigations are unavailable. Stakeholders are responsible for eva

How to assess evidence about Security

Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
