THE INTERNET IS THINKING
Earlier sources: Markets
Markets connect capital, goods, services, and labor. This region follows economic developments, public markets, venture capital, fintech, and commerce. Source attention does not constitute financial advice or forecast investment returns.
SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.
Open in the map ↗253 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.
Earlier sources
Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Show HN: AI investment agreement review for startup founders ↗
Hi HN! First, congrats to the founders who received a term sheet(and those who will!) I made an investment agreement review tool for founders who recently received a term sheet! You can review your term sheets, SAFEs, convertible notes, and financing agreements if your corporation is incorporated in Delaware, from pre-seed through Series A. It also reviews equity purchase agreements, investor rights, voting terms, and side letters. Try it and che…

Common Signals, Spurious Cross-Excitation, and Identification in Multivariate Hawkes Processes ↗
Multivariate Hawkes models are widely used to measure endogenous interactions in event data, but latent common signals can generate apparent excitation even without structural interaction. We characterize the resulting linear projection and construct stable, nonnegative Hawkes processes that share the mean intensity and Bartlett spectrum of common-signal models despite having different excitation mechanisms. This establishes a concrete form of second-order non-identification. We derive integrated third-order cumulants for Hawkes processes with Cox immigration and establish generic local identi…

Optimal carbon quota allocation for power system decarbonization: a two-stage peer-to-peer market framework ↗
Amid the global pursuit of deep decarbonization, effectively harnessing demand-side resources has emerged as a crucial strategy, particularly as end-user consumption is a primary driver of carbon emissions. However, existing demand-side carbon policies often impose a significant financial burden on consumers and struggle to utilize carbon quota resources to achieve effective emission reductions. To address these limitations, this paper proposes a novel two-stage framework for carbon quota allocation to advance the decarbonization of power systems. The first stage introduces an allocation strat…

Optimizing Industrial Park Power–Hydrogen–Thermal Systems for Low-Carbon Economy: Accounting for Nonlinear Polarization and Waste-Heat Utilization ↗
To address high carbon emissions, high operational costs, and severe renewable-energy curtailment in industrial parks, this paper proposes a multi-objective optimal dispatch method for an integrated electricity–hydrogen–thermal energy system. First, load-dependent reduced-order models informed by polarization characteristics are employed to represent the nonlinear efficiency characteristics of hydrogen conversion equipment, alongside a hydrogen–thermal cascade utilization strategy that incorporates recoverable fuel-cell waste heat into the aggregate industrial thermal-energy balance. On this b…

Phototrophs trade growth for defense through graded regulatory states under escalating oxidative stress ↗
Oxygenic phototrophs face a paradox: the reactions powering growth generate oxidative stress, whose damage or costly defense reduces fitness. In Synechococcus elongatus PCC 7942, we profiled steady-state growth, photophysiology, and transcription across a dissolved oxygen gradient (0–374% air saturation). Independent component analysis of these transcriptomes within a 407-sample compendium resolved 78 regulatory modules (iModulons) explaining 72.3% of variance. Growth rate followed a graded, sigmoidal dose-response, which we divide into low, moderate, and severe stress regimes (14% and 47% dec…

Toward Rational Design of Aqueous Battery Membranes Beyond the Selectivity‐Conductivity Trade‐Off ↗
ABSTRACT Electrochemical energy‐storage systems increasingly require membranes that can simultaneously deliver fast ion transport, suppressed active‐species crossover, chemical and dimensional stability, and scalable manufacturability. Yet conventional membrane platforms still struggle to reconcile conductivity with selectivity, while durability and processability remain important practical constraints. Sulfonic‐acid‐based membranes are particularly attractive because they combine strong acidity, fixed‐charge character, and tunable hydrated ionic domains. Together, these features make sulfonic…

Exploring the moderating effects of flow experience in strengthening artificial intelligence-based customer interactions on social commerce ↗
Purpose This study aims to investigate the effect of utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) in social commerce on increasing consumer engagement, specifically in terms of engagement and conversion rates. It also examines the role of flow experience in strengthening this relationship. Design/methodology/approach This study collected data from 354 Indonesian social commerce shoppers. Covariance based Structural Equation Modeling was employed to analyze the data following the two-stage procedure. First, the measurement model was assessed for validity and reliability. Second, the structural hypoth…

Feasibility of recapturing millimeter-level vibrations by fusing mass-market GNSS and MEMS accelerometer ↗
Abstract We investigate the feasibility of recapturing millimeter-level vibrations associated, e.g., with structural monitoring using selected low-cost GNSS and IMU sensors, namely u-blox ZED-F9P, and Septentrio Mosaic-X5 GNSS receivers, coupled with RedShift Labs UM7 MEMS unit. First, the observation assessment reveals that the noise of the low-cost GNSS receiver carrier-phase data is comparable to that of the Trimble Alloy. Subsequently, the performance of vibration retrieval was assessed by recapturing artificially induced motions. We employ a high-rate kinematic PPP GNSS solution based on…

Beyond Time Induction: Structured Conditional Neural Solvers for Parametric Stochastic-Volatility Pricing ↗
Physics-informed neural networks provide a flexible framework for learning parametric PDE solution families without labeled data, yet preserving accurate derivatives across heterogeneous regimes remains challenging. Structured neural solvers offer compact representations, but restrictive conditional parameterizations can limit adaptation across the solution family. We introduce BeTINN, a structured conditional architecture extending time-induced modulation through multi-directional time-parameter conditioning and a joint residual pathway. We evaluate BeTINN on the Heston stochastic-volatility…

How to assess evidence about Markets
Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
