THE INTERNET IS THINKING
Earlier sources: Energy
Energy research and engineering concern how power is produced, stored, delivered, and consumed. Follow solar and nuclear power, fusion, geothermal systems, batteries, electricity grids, and changing power demand.
SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.
Open in the map ↗646 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.
Earlier sources
Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Surface optimized TiS2: Perovskite composites for the fabrication of solar cells ↗
This paper describes surface enhancement of perovskite/CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 via TiS 2 Nanosheets/NSs by fabricating TiS 2 : perovskite composites/TPCs (i.e., 0, 2, 4, and 6 mg/ml, respectively) and, furthermore, their application as photoactive layers in the fabrication of solar devices. In this context, the chemical route approach is used to fabricate TiS 2 , CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 , and TPCs. The fabrication of such composites is confirmed using various characterization techniques. Moreover, as-fabricated TPCs are employed in the fabrication of solar devices. The results evidently show that the insertio…

Descriptor‐Guided Computational Screening of Non‐Fullerene Acceptor Cores for Organic Solar Cells ↗
ABSTRACT Non‐fullerene acceptors (NFAs) have propelled organic photovoltaic efficiencies toward 21%, yet their modular acceptor–donor–acceptor chemistry creates a vast combinatorial design space that calls for efficient prescreening. Here we establish a computation‐driven screening workflow and apply it to over 4000 optimized A–B–(D–S)–B–A NFA molecules assembled from experimentally reported building blocks. Using a sequential set of device‐relevant criteria – suppressed dipole moment, a target quadrupole for efficient charge separation, trap‐free electron transport, sufficient interfacial ene…

The role of information and communication technology and institutional quality on access to electricity in SSA economies ↗
The study examines the role of information and communication technology (ICT) and institutional quality on access to electricity in SSA economies within batteries of econometric techniques. The findings show that ICT penetration has a positive and significant effect on access to electricity in SSA economies. Meanwhile, the marginal effect shows that the relationship between ICT and electricity access remains the same across different levels of the interacting variable. This result indicates that ICT penetration in SSA economies could drive access to electricity through smart grids and load man…

Improving frequency stability in islanded urban microgrids by improved cascaded controller (1+PD-3DOF-FOPID) mobile EV energy storage ↗
Maintaining frequency stability in islanded urban microgrids (IUMs) in the presence of disturbances from renewable energy sources such as photovoltaics and wind turbine generators, along with parameter uncertainties, constitutes a fundamental challenge. Owing to their inherent intermittency and low inertia, these sources can significantly jeopardize frequency stability in islanded operation. Mobile EV energy storage can play a pivotal role in enhancing frequency stability within IUMs. However, to ensure that such storage effectively contributes to system stability, a robust load frequency cont…

Experimental evaluation of R454C and R495A in an R134a-based air conditioning system for new-energy vehicles ↗
Low-global-warming-potential zeotropic blends can reduce the direct climate impact of electric-vehicle air conditioning, but their practical value depends on cooling capacity, compressor demand, and pressure level. This study experimentally assessed R454C and R495A in the single-AC mode of an integrated thermal-management platform originally developed for R134a. Charge optimization, thermodynamic screening, conventional cooling tests, parameter sweeps, an extreme 55 °C boundary, and evaporator outlet-air temperature mapping were performed. Under three representative cooling conditions, R454C d…

Energy efficient multi sink routing for large scale healthcare Internet of Things wireless sensor networks using reinforcement learning and multi objective optimization ↗
Increasing the network lifetime of healthcare Internet of Things systems deployed in large-scale wireless sensor networks requires energy-efficient, reliable, and secure communications. However, existing approaches do not adequately support shared-path reuse, intelligent forwarding, node fault handling, and adaptive relay deployment, resulting in increased energy consumption, communication overheads, and transmission delays. To address these limitations, this paper proposes an energy-efficient multi-sink routing framework based on the Steiner Routing with Route Memory and Path Cache Mechanism…

Climate-resilient urban energy infrastructure through rail-integrated photovoltaics in land-constrained South Korea ↗
This study assesses rail-integrated photovoltaics (RIPV) across five surface railway corridors in urban South Korea. Dense metropolitan regions need renewable energy strategies that do not compete for land. Railway corridors offer one such option because they already occupy linear public space and connect closely to traction and distribution infrastructure. We develop a multi-corridor techno-economic framework for these corridors. The framework combines GIS-based suitability screening, hourly PV simulation whose yield component is validated against Korean reference data, traction-load matching…

Energy‐Level Engineering with Co‐Sensitization of Organic Molecules on NiO x for Sn‐Based Perovskite Solar Cells ↗
ABSTRACT A cooperative self‐assembly of organic small molecules made of diester/diacid‐bithiophene units [BT 2D ‐CE ( 1 ), BT 2D ‐CA ( 2 )] with hexylpyridine‐ or phosphonic acid‐functionalized dithienopyrrole units [DTP 2D ‐Py ( 3 ), DTP 2D ‐PA ( 4 )] was induced atop Nickel Oxide (NiO x ) hole‐transport‐layer for lead‐free tin‐based perovskite solar cells. The pyridine functionality of DTP 2D ‐Py ( 3 ) in conjunction with the carboxyl group of BT 2D ‐CA ( 2 ) altered the NiO x /Perovskite interfacial energetics and accelerates selective hole extraction by passivating the buried interfacial d…

Physics-informed unsupervised battery state-of-charge estimation via temperature-conditioned Mamba and parallel Bayesian inference ↗
In this paper, we propose Mamba-IPLS, a physics-informed, unsupervised algorithm for offline, label-free battery state-of-charge (SOC) trajectory reconstruction. The architecture integrates a Mamba backbone with a Temperature-Conditioned Modulator (TCM) to generate model parameters under different ambient temperature conditions. For a sequence of length N , this Mamba–TCM neural parameter generator requires O ( N ) total work. The generated parameters drive a physical state–space model, where the latent battery states are estimated using a Parallel Iterated Posterior Linearization Smoother (IP…

Rockburst evolution modeling with fracture-ejection behavior by a quasi-state-based peridynamics with cluster motion algorithm and energy-based criterion ↗
Rockburst is a dynamic hazard with sudden occurrence and rapid energy release involving fracture localization and violent ejection of fragmented rock blocks during tunneling under high-stress environments. However, numerical simulations of rockbursts still lack a cluster-scale description of post-detachment rock block dynamics and an objective criterion for identifying whether the simulated motion constitutes a rockburst event. To address these gaps, a unified numerical framework integrating quasi-state-based peridynamics (QSBPD) with a motion-collision-fragment algorithm is developed for rock…

How to assess evidence about Energy
Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
