THE INTERNET IS THINKING

Earlier sources: Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence covers systems that learn from data, generate content, perceive their surroundings, or act toward a goal. Follow model research, agent tooling, evaluation, and the infrastructure used to build and run these systems.

SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.

5433 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.

Earlier sources

Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

    YNSScarSaiyan/nys-sft-public — model update ↗

    # NYS — Sparse Kuramoto EqProp (public lineage) **NYS** is not a transformer. It is a coupled-oscillator organism: phases \(\theta_i\), amplitudes, natural frequencies \(\omega_i\), and a sparse coupling graph \(K\). Language, compiler bits, and speech-frame IDs live on **one** graph (\(N = 5{,}000{,}000\) nodes, \(k = 512\) edges per node). The native graph trains by **Equilibrium Propagation** (free RK4, then same-moment free/nudged branches, then a contrastive \(K\) update), without backprop or a cross-entropy objective. A separate sparse context head now provides retrieved language inputs.

    thinletter/ThinCtx-Qwen3.5-0.8B — model update ↗

    # ThinCtx-Qwen3.5-0.8B ThinCtx by thinletter. `ThinCtx-Qwen3.5-0.8B` is the ThinCtx conversion of [Qwen3.5-0.8B](https://huggingface.co/Qwen/Qwen3.5-0.8B) that keeps the GPU memory for the context small: it grows 20 to 30 times more slowly than the base model's cache (**0.43 GB** instead of **6.0 GB** at half a million tokens). The part of the context kept on the GPU is small and grows slowly with the length of the conversation or document; the full context is kept in ordinary system memory. ThinCtx trades some speed for this (see Speed below). Chat and tool calling use the Qwen3.5 chat templa

How to assess evidence about Artificial Intelligence

Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
