THE INTERNET IS THINKING

Earlier sources: Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence covers systems that learn from data, generate content, perceive their surroundings, or act toward a goal. Follow model research, agent tooling, evaluation, and the infrastructure used to build and run these systems.

SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.

5395 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.

Earlier sources

Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Show HN: Baa – a menu bar app that frees RAM your AI agents forgot about ↗

i built this because my mac keeps running out of RAM every 2 hours and i typically get around it by closing random apps and hoping it will help. :') baa sits in the menu bar and: - finds stuff still eating memory after its app or terminal closed, or that ai agents started and forgot (dev servers, headless browsers) - shows how much you'd get back and frees it in one click - warns you a few minutes before you run out - also finds dev junk on your…

Statistical Downscaling of Daily Precipitation from ERA5 Atmospheric Fields to IMERG over West Africa ↗

Global reanalyses are too coarse to resolve the convective systems that produce most West African monsoon rainfall. In this work, we use U-Net based architectures to downscale daily ERA5 fields (0.25°) to IMERG V07 satellite precipitation (0.1°) over West Africa for the June to October seasons of 2000 to 2024, using geopotential, temperature, humidity and wind at three pressure levels together with elevation and land fraction. Adding ERA5 precipitation as input slightly improves performance for this particular challenging region. We find that all the deterministic networks investigated for thi…

    # Poolformer for Contrastive ## Overview Working implementation of **Poolformer** for **Contrastive** using a **tiny** configuration. The repository focuses on transparent code and repeatable smoke tests; benchmark claims are deliberately omitted. ## Repository status - The Python file contains the model and runnable example or training entry point. - `config.json` records the generated architecture settings. - `training_args.json` records the default experiment recipe. - `model.safetensors` is a valid initialization checkpoint for smoke tests; it is **not** presented as a trained benchmark ch

How to assess evidence about Artificial Intelligence

Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
