THE INTERNET IS THINKING
Earlier sources: Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence covers systems that learn from data, generate content, perceive their surroundings, or act toward a goal. Follow model research, agent tooling, evaluation, and the infrastructure used to build and run these systems.
SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.
Open in the map ↗5999 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.
Earlier sources
Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Show HN: Made a xcom like game in a weekend with AI. 3D, textures, models, etc. ↗
I published it to playgama, but first want to say how it helped me. One of my ideas was to make something like X-Com but provide an indirect control - you control the leader, and your squad members make the turns themselves, based on their intelligence stats! If they get alive over battles - they learn how to play smarter, not just to get MORE hp! Now the most interesting part - the development. I used three.js and vanilla js, no engines or frame…

Differentially Private Mixing of Public Datasets Improves Private Learning ↗
Many machine learning applications involve sensitive data and therefore require training under differential privacy (DP). However, DP training often degrades model utility. In some cases, first pre-training the model on "public" data before finetuning with DP on the sensitive data can reduce the drop in utility. However, the success of this depends on how relevant the selected public dataset is to the sensitive data. We introduce the first pipeline that privately learns the mixture of several public datasets to pretrain on for a given sensitive downstream task. Our key insight is that we can p…

How to assess evidence about Artificial Intelligence
Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
