THE INTERNET IS THINKING
Earlier sources: Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence covers systems that learn from data, generate content, perceive their surroundings, or act toward a goal. Follow model research, agent tooling, evaluation, and the infrastructure used to build and run these systems.
SYMTRI organizes observations from public sources into a living map. Connections reflect shared subject matter; they do not establish causation or endorse a source.
Open in the map ↗6049 classified signals in the fourteen-day window. Recent momentum: steady. These counts include signals awaiting readable evidence.
Earlier sources
Up to ten sources with readable evidence, ordered by their feed timestamp. These archive sources can be older than the live fourteen-day window. This list is a sample, not a measure of total activity. Dates distinguish paper publication, repository creation, model/dataset activity, Hacker News posts, and KEV catalog additions. “First archived” records when SYMTRI first stored the signal.

Ami1ne/Bora — dataset update ↗
# Bora A curated, clustered video clip dataset built to train a from-scratch, small-parameter (~150-200M) video generation model as part of the [Codeically](https://www.youtube.com/@Codeically) "smallest video gen model" video series. ## Contents The repo has two layers: **Raw footage** (`batch_01/` … `batch_NN/`) — source videos as collected, each batch with its own `manifest.csv`: | column | description | |---|---| | `filename` | source video filename within the batch | | `source` | `pexels`, `pixabay`, or `nasa` | | `category` | one of 56 fine-grained domain tags (see below) | | `query` | t

Stellar parameters and abundances for 3.2 million DESI DR1 spectra using machine learning ↗
We present a machine-learning pipeline for determining stellar parameters and chemical abundances from spectra observed by the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI). Building on the model-driven Payne framework, we train an artificial neural network on ~370,000 synthetic spectra spanning FGK stars, and fit the network directly to the flux-calibrated, un-normalised spectral energy distribution (SED) of each star, rather than to a continuum-normalised spectrum as done by DESI's official Stellar Parameter (SP) pipeline. Internal accuracy tests show a median interpolation error of less than…

athanzli/MicroGlot — model update ↗
# MicroGlot A taxonomy-informed sparse DNA foundation model for microbial genomics. MicroGlot is a 23-layer decoder-only mixture-of-experts transformer pretrained on **378.3 billion nucleotides** from **3.70 million sequences** across **99,700 microbial species** — bacteria, archaea, fungi, protists, viruses and plasmids. It encodes the taxonomic hierarchy as hyperbolic (Poincaré) embeddings and uses them both as an input token and to steer expert routing. **Paper:** [A Taxonomy-Informed Sparse DNA Foundation Model for Microbial Genomics](https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.64898/2026.09.22.753

How to assess evidence about Artificial Intelligence
Check each original source for its methods, release status, limitations, and supporting data. A repository announcement, a preprint, and a published study provide different kinds of evidence. SYMTRI’s subject classification helps discovery; it does not independently validate the source’s claims.
